The River Bend Farm Property Owners' Association ("POA") is a non-profit organization comprised of the Members of the POA. The neighborhood, located off Route 340 just over four miles south of Criser Road, with its entrance on the right (traveling south on 340) just after Asbury Methodist Church, is comprised of 34 five-acre lots, 24 of which currently have homes. Each lot owner is a member. The POA's Board of Directors is comprised of three Members; this applicant (Walter Rahn) is one of those three Directors and is a Samuels member (8240 0601 1715). The POA has an in-person meeting with all Members invited once per year; historically, this is the only POA business meeting of the Membership at large, though the Board typically meets 1-3 times annually. Attendance is typically 30-40 persons, including Members and family. Meetings typically take about 2 hours; I have asked to reserve 2.5 hours.
