As many/most Property Owners Associations in Virginia are, we are a "Common Interest Community Association" registered with the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation ("DPOR"). Such organizations are not non-profit; if we were to charge fees for services, that income would be taxed. But Member payments to the POA organization are not taxable to the organization. You have treated us as a non-profit for Library purposes, and for that, we are grateful. Our DPOR license number is 0550007990; a search on DPOR's website will identify us using that number.
We have had our Annual Meeting at Samuels for several years now, and have always been impressed and happy with the room conditions and the help from personnel. Thank you for making that happen every time!
