Program Description

Description

The mindfulness-based stress-reduction practices, such as mindfulness meditation and other mindfulness practices have received significant public attention in recent years. And yet, even when these subjects are addressed in magazine or on-line articles interested persons may be left with such questions as “what is mindfulness,” “what is meditation,” “can anyone try it,” or “how might these activities be beneficial?” Please join the Friends of Samuels Public Library and mindfulness instructor Brown Sharp II for a virtual presentation on March 23 at 6:30 p.m. This session will include an introduction to the mindfulness practices. Participants will be encouraged to submit any questions they may have through the Zoom chat feature during the program.
