General Educational Development test preparation classes are available through Laurel Ridge Community College Adult Education. Each semester is 15 weeks, and classes meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 AM to 12 PM.

Winchester's AIDS Response Effort, Inc. (ARE) will be at the library on  May 22, July 16, and October 22 of 2025 to provide free STI testing for the community.
