This free training for Infant and Toddler Day care providers will talk about the importance of play and how it affects the healthy growth and development of infants and toddlers, including physical; intellectual; language; and social emotional development. We will explore the stages and types of play and discuss how infants and toddlers learn about themselves and the world around them through play. As early care providers, you have a very important role helping young children learn through their play experiences! We will talk about the importance of your role in a child’s learning through play and we will share ideas and positive ways to plan appropriate activities and spaces for play that are conducive to infant and toddler learning.
