Program Description

Description

Join us to learn how to make pictures out of other pictures!  Combine other materials like catalogs, junk mail, magazines and newspapers to create your own unique piece of artwork!  Then if you enjoy yourself and want to take it to the next level, join us for part two when we learn to make digital collage pieces.

The supplies you need for this are ones you probably already have around your house - cardstock/cardboard/cereal boxes, glue, scissors, ruler, print material like magazines, junk mail, newspapers etc and the program zoom to participate in the class.  I have made a video that explains the materials lists and invites you on a scavenger hunt, check out the library's youtube. If you need supplies, please let staff at the reference desk know. They'll be happy to give you craft materials and can reserve a tool kit you can check out.

This is an online Zoom program. We will contact all registered participants the day before the program to give you the log in information. If you need help downloading the Zoom app to your device please contact the Reference Desk at 540-635-3153 ext 105 or at reference@samuelslibrary.net
