In 1996, the young couple was found viciously attacked at their Shenandoah National Park campsite. Season 3 of Appalachian Mysteria (Outlandish) centers on their slayings but also weaves in the similar cases of nearly 10 other victims through interviews with reporters, lawyers, investigators, and survivors.
