Why Do We Care About the Spotted Lanternfly invading Virginia? The Spotted Lanternfly (Lycorma delicatula) is an invasive planthopper native (alien species) to China, India, Vietnam.  The Spotted Lanternfly causes serious damage including oozing sap, wilting, leaf curling and dieback in trees, vines, crops and many other types of plants. Join us through Zoom Thursday, May 13 at 6:30 PM to learn how to identify, report, and stop the Spotted Lanternfly.
